mental health support, and prescription refills. They're perfect
when you need medical advice but don't require a physical
examination.
For a successful virtual visit, you'll need:
• A smartphone, tablet, or computer with camera and microphone
• A stable internet connection
• A quiet, private space for your appointment
• Your insurance information and ID
• A list of current medications
Your virtual visit will be similar to an in-person appointment.
Your provider will greet you, discuss your health concerns, review
your medical history, and provide medical advice or treatment
recommendations. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and
receive the same quality care as an office visit.
To start your mobile virtual visit:
1. Download the patient portal app from the App Store or Google
Play
2. Log in with your credentials
3. Navigate to your scheduled appointment
4. Tap "Join Video Visit" when it's time for your appointment
5. Allow camera and microphone permissions when prompted
For desktop virtual visits:
1. Visit the patient portal website through your web browser
2. Log in with your username and password
3. Go to "Appointments" and select your scheduled visit
4. Click "Start Video Visit" at your appointment time
5. Allow your browser to access your camera and microphone
Virtual visits are typically covered by insurance at the same rate
as in-person visits. Your co-pay and coverage will depend on your
insurance plan. Contact your insurance provider or our billing
department for specific cost information related to your plan.
If you experience connection problems, first try refreshing your
browser or restarting the app. Make sure you have a strong Wi-Fi
